Dear Minister Mah,

Suggestion for improving the playgrounds in Tampines
Playgrounds are generally known to bring and provide pleasures and fun to children of all ages and let them make up games of all kinds through their imagination.
However, your playgrounds fail to provide these facilities.I can feedback to you some ways you can imrpove the current conditions to bring all of these fun and enjoyment.
These are my suggestions: You can provide ramps to make it more accessible for people including the handicapped disability. The playground can be covered with soft material in case children play on their own.
Many children can play were and foster friendships and be less lonely staying in lousy playgrounds around their house void decks.
After making all these models of playgrounds, it made me think of children in playgrounds having fun, and playgrounds in tampines neighbourhood.
I hope you will see into this letter and change some things about tampines playgrounds and make it a child's dream fulfiled, and allow them to have a good childhood.

Yours truly,

To minister Mah bow Tan
Proposal of playground old building

I am writing this letter of proposal for a playground unit. There are many playgrounds in Tampines and I think that there are many things that to be improved on. There are many thing to improve on the current playgrounds like there are not enough place for all the children to play in.
There are many plastics that are bulging out from the slides and the thing is that there are some parts of the slides which are a little rusty and when young children are there. hey might get infection.

Therefore I recommend that all the things in the playground to be made of plastic. . My school have recently have done a project on the new playground so that all the children who are disabled could also enjoy there child hood days.
Thanks for reading my letter.

Julian's OEE

The group has used the 3Rs for the 3D model - Reuse, Reduce and Recycle and as such, we have used materials like cotton wool and wooden chopsticks. We have done the best that we could to use the most recycle material as possible.

We used ice-cream sticks, plasticines, some cotton wool and chopsticks to build the 3d model. As to relate the theme of the playground to the novel, we built a house at a significantly high level and a bridge linked to it. In this way, the house and the bridge would be similar to the tree house and the bridge leading to terabithia in the novel respectively.

We created it is such a sense that it will help them heal their illnesses and at the same time, create an environment suitable for them to play in. The bridge was designed to be quite unstable to help the kids in the playground to overcome their fear of heights.

The material we use was Chopsticks, ice-cream sticks, plasticine, super glue, cotton wool and ropes. To link the novels we decided to put a bridge and the house as high as possible. So the house would be like a tree house and the bridge as a pass to terabithia.

We made it for the disable in singapore. As you know most disable are encourage to stay away from crowded place for their safety. This is the place of paradise for the disable. They will be happy and safe in this place.

Thanks for reading.

We use chopsticks, cotton wool,ice-cream sticks, plasticine to build our our project. To link the novel to the the design of the playground, we used a house that is far up and acts like the tree house in the novel. We linked a bridge to the house so that it like the bridge in the novel. There is also a bench outside so that they could rest there when they are tired.

We created it is such a sense that it will help them heal their illnesses at the same time when they play.We design it that the house is up their in a little small area so that they are able to communicate with each other.

Some features of our playground

We're going to have safe flights of stairs for the playground.
Why?
We're designing for the handicapped and definately we don't want them to get injured in the process of playing so we also definately need safe ground not sand as the children might fall and if we have a soft ground they won't be injured at all.
